Development of Innovation Economy - Activity of Local Government in Poland

Purpose: The paper aimed to check the activities of local governments contributing development innovation economy in Poland as well find answer questions if both support innovations, implement innovations themselves. Moreover, purpose was out depend on their type (rural, urban, urban-rural) or not? Approach/Methodology/Design: In order achieve that method desk research, quantitative and qualitative research were used. first part based a literature review second concerned survey questionnaire review. developed whole population (2479) Poland, investigated, early - using CAWI method. Findings: We have got answers from 453 governments. conducted analysis showed what kind is undertaken by Polish frequently, we also they undertake increase economy. Practical Implications: LGUs should continue implementing resulting ICT infrastructure e-government at level development. Both world trends last pandemic time confirmed need boosting this area. Secondly, LG authorities cooperate with business actors, coming other public sector, academia, civil society. Originality/Value: has enabled develop conceptual understanding relationship between government innovative activities.
